The entrance to the party featured a full-size, Hollywood style back drop featuring the names of some of the various venders we used. The guests were invited to pose on the red carptet to be photographed for the photo guest book, which they each signed. After the photos were developed, they were pasted into the book next to their written message, making a great memento!
The food was catered by All Seasons All Reasons catering company. It featured 4 distinct types of food: Mexican, Asian, Italian and American. Each section featured a hand drawn 3 ft by 5 ft poster of Blake in various international garb. The sections were decorated with various accoutrements of their themes.
With all the other extravagances of the room, the tables were kept rather simple. Each group featured multi-colored blue balloons, attached to a decorative weight. One balloon at each table contained a small flashing strobe, so that when the lights were darkened for the dancing portion of the evening, the entire room flashed, like a nightclub.
A full ice-cream bar was provided by Coldstone. Four flavors of ice-cream were featured with 8 different mix-ins. Coldstone provided small marble slabs and all untensils needed, and family and friends were recruited to mix and serve the ice-cream for the guests.
